When looking for the perfect gifts for children many people try to give them something that will be valuable to them and help them learn and experience new things instead of giving them a generic toy that just gets thrown in the bottom of the toy box after one use. When looking for this type of gift, the best things to look for are interaction value, is it interactive, or static? And does it provide any educational value? And is it fun? If the toy checks all 3 boxes, then you know that the child will enjoy it, and it will benefit their life in a positive way!
Introducing the toy that does check all 3 boxes, The Magic School Bus Engineering Lab! My son and husband had the chance to review this!
This epic toy set is awesome, they had so much fun. They have been building all kind of motors, even with electric, and some air powered devices too. The great thing about this kit is that everything is included, even the glue, tinfoil, ice-cream sticks and balloons, so all you need to do is buy this one set and nothing else for it to be used in full effect. It literally has everything you need!
There are several components to this set, and they can all be stored in the bus when not in use which saves all of the little pieces going missing throughout the house. Which is a blessing for mom.
Some of the extra things included in this awesome bus is a science data notebook where they can keep track of all the of experiments and results, electrical crocodile clips, and a set of fun flash cards that show all the experiments that can be made from the kit! The cards are very specif so you are not left guessing what to do.
The recommended age for the magic bus kit is ages five to ten years. Remember that there are A LOT of small parts in this kit and thus it is definitely not suitable for children under 3, and children under 8 should be supervised at all times!
This is worth every penny, your kids will love it to. My son just wants to keep moving on to the next experiment. It is very hard to get him to put this away!
Make sure you head on over and check out the Young Scientist Club on Facebook and check out all the experiments!
