Mrs. Freshley’s

So I have a five year old who can lose interest very quickly, especially when it comes to eating. So I am always looking for cute ways to dress up meals and snacks. I really found a cute idea that my son really loves. I was very lucky to have the chance this year to work with Mrs. Freshley’s. For those who don’t know, Mrs. Freshley’s entered the vending market  back in 1994 with a focus on baking fresh, tasty products. And man they really do! We love them! I had the chance to try their Honey Buns, Mini Donuts, and Doughnut Sticks.

Ingredients
1 Family pack of Mrs. Freshley’s powdered sugar mini donuts
1 Bag of Candy Corn
Mini chocolate chips
Mini candied coated chocolate pieces
Peppermint sticks
Red Licorice
Vanilla icing
Directions
Press the large end of a piece of candy corn into the center of one donut.
Use the vanilla icing to adhere the mini chocolate chips to the donut for the snowman’s eyes and mouth.
Stack three donuts and apply the candied coated chocolate pieces for buttons.
Place the donut with the snowman’s face on top of the three stacked donuts.
Insert two peppermint sticks for the snowman’s arms and use a piece of red licorice for the snowman’s scarf.

We have also used pretzels for arms instead of peppermint sticks and they are really good as well!
